Journey Water Urns
Beautiful and natural urns
We offer Journey Water Urns in a range of colours and patterns. They are hand-crafted from sustainably produced and biodegradable mulberry paper. When placed in water they float briefly, the ashes are then released, and the urn sinks gracefully to the riverbed, where it breaks down naturally over a matter of hours.
Not only are they beautiful, but they also prevent ashes blowing around, which can upset some people. We can transfer the ashes to the urn on the day, or send it to your funeral director for transfer, ready for your collection.
The cost for the urn is £70. If you would like the urn posted to your funeral director, there is an extra cost of £8 to cover postage.
Refreshments
Tea, coffee, masala chai
Enjoy our signature Masala Chai, freshly-made filter coffee, breakfast, herb and fruit teas, with a lovely selection of egg-free biscuits for £4.00 per person. We also have a selection of cold drinks including Coke, lemonade, fruit juices and bottled water. You are most welcome if you would like to bring your own snacks.
Your own food
Bring your own food and drinks
We are more than happy if you would like to bring your own food & drinks. We don’t have a facility to reheat food, so we suggest you bring food wrapped in several layers of foil or in hot food or drink flasks. We can supply boiling water.
